hello everybody! i'm sanchan! and welcome to my countdown of 15 romances anime series. if you love romance, shoujo, school, or possibly any love triangle type animes. then you just might enjoy these. 15. my love story!! (ore monogatari!!) an anime that began this year in april 2015 tells the story of a freshman in high school named gouda takeo with a kind spirit and a giant heart.
he spends his days peacefully with his super- popular-with-girls yet insensitive childhood friend sunakawa. one morning, on the train to school, takeo saves a girl, yamato from a harasser on the train. could this be the beginning of spring for takeo? 14. honey and clover takemoto yuuta, mayama takumi, and morita shinobu are college students
who share a small apartment. even though they live in poverty, the three of them are able to obtain pleasure throughout small things in life. takemoto is struggling to find his direction in life while his roommates are moving confidently or recklessly towards their goals. the story follows their life stories as poor college students. enter hanamoto hagumi
he childlike and beautiful prodigy whom everyone admires and thus the love triangles begin. together, the trio explore the pain of first love, the trials of romantic conflict, and our loyalty to those annoying people who happen to be our closest friends. 13. your lie in april piano prodigy arima kosei dominated the competition and all child musicians knew his name. but after his mother, who was also his instructor, passed away, he had a mental breakdown while performing at a recital that resulted in him
no longer able to hear the sound of his piano even though his hearing was perfectly fine. even two years later kosei hasn't touched the piano and views the world in monotone, and without any flair or color. he was confident at living out his life with his good friends tsubaki and watari until, one day, a girl changed everything. miyazono kaori is a pretty, free spirited violinist whose
playing style reflects her personality. kaori helps kosei return to the music world while also reigniting his passion for music. 12. kids on the slope (sakamichi no apollon) summer 1966: lonely kaoru nishimi has lost count of how many times he has moved schools thanks to his father's career. newly landed in kyushu, he finds most of his classmates instantly antagonistic towards him and suspicious of his elite background. only two other students seem not to mind who he is sentarou and ritsuko. unbeknownst to kaoru, they have a passion for jazz
and try to pull him into the world of swing and music. through friendship and frustration, love and despair, kaoru will learn that life has a wealth of experiences in store for him! 11. toradora! despite takasu's gentle personality, his eyes make him look like an intimidating delinquent. class rearrangements on his second high school year put him together with his best friend, yusaku kitamura, and his hidden crush, minori.
along with these two comes minori’s best friend, taiga aisaka. her delicate appearance contrasts with her brutal personality. secretly in love with kitamura taiga agrees to help takasu with his love interest as long as he helps her get closer to hers. i highly recommend this anime! its possibly one of the best comedy romances out there! 10. clannad: after story (clannad) summer break is now over
the second semester has started for tomoya, nagisa and the others and little has changed. since tomoya's relationship with his father is still troubled he continues to live with nagisa and her family. life at school continues as normal with sunohara as carefree as ever; however, when his sister mei voices her concerns about him, the series of events that follow place a strain on sunohara and tomoya’s friendship. clannad is probably one of the best romance animes ever but i wanted to mention clannad at this point because i know there are many
romances type animes out there that you probably haven’t heard of. but still, i highly recommend this anime regardless of its rank. 9. nisekoi (nisekoi:) raku ichijou is an average high school student. he also happens to be the sole heir to the head of a yakuza family called the shuei-gumi. ten years ago, raku made a promise... a secret promise with a girl he met. they promised one another that they will "get married when they reunite."
since then, raku never let go of the pendant the girl gave him. then one day, a beautiful girl named chitoge kirisaki transfers into raku's class. their chemistry was more than off. but by a weird turn of events, raku and chitoge agree to become fake lovers. although his heart is really interested in his classmate kosaki onodera raku must continue pretending to be chitoge's boyfriend. 8. lovely complex risa koizumi, taller than the average girl, and atsushi ootani, shorter than the average guy their constant bickering and comical love-hate relationship
is well-known throughout the school. they act similarly and love the same music and their friendship is full of laughing, shouting at each other. but when risa notices her feelings for ootani growing she's worried. she doesn't know if he can ever see her as more than a friend. with her friends rooting for her, she struggles to make him see how she feels about him, and that a romantic relationship between a tall girl and a short guy can work. ootani doesn't make things easy for her
but she stubbornly perseveres in her own unconventional way determined for her feelings to get through to him and finally be returned. if only she could do it without driving herself and everyone else crazy in the process... 7. kimi ni todoke (from me to you) sawako kuronuma is just like any other high school girl who wants to make friends and be useful. the only problem is she bears a worrying resemblance to sadako from 'the ring!'
because of her reputation, people are not only terrified of her, but small dogs even bark in fear at her presence. in fact, the only person in school who will talk to her is the lively class hottie kazehaya. as the pair spends more time together kazehaya slowly begins to bring sawako out of her shell and soon their feelings for each other develop further. though with her crippling insecurities, lack of social skills,
and a series of cruel rumors and misunderstandings, it seems that sawako's dream of a normal life won’t be quite so easy to obtain. 6. kamisama kiss 2 (kamisama hajimemashita 2) nanami continues being a 'land god/earth deity' and as well being in love with her familiar, tomoe. her 'being a god' thing continues as she was given a test by otohiko, a wind god, to determine her capability to attend the divine assembly in izumo. after the event's following the first season,
nanami is filled with new challenges as the land god of the shrine. she faces these challenges with tomoe and mizuki. along these challenges, tomoe begins to realize his true feelings for nanami. 5. blue spring ride (ao haru ride) yoshioka futaba has a few reasons why she wants to "reset" her image and life as a new high school student. because she's cute, she was ostracized by her female friends in junior high and because of a misunderstanding
she couldn't get her feeling across to the one boy she has ever liked tanaka. now in high school she is determined to be as unladylike as possible so that her friends won't be jealous of her. while living her life this way she meets tanaka-kun again, but he now goes under the name of mabuchi kou. he tells her that he felt the same way as she did when they were younger but now things can never be the same again. will futaba be able to continue her love that never even started from three years ago?
4. a lull in the sea (nagi no asukara) long ago, humanity lived in the sea. but the humans who longed for the land left the sea behind. they cast aside the special raiment they'd been given by the sea god that let them live in the ocean. the thinking of the sea humans and the land humans became as separate as the places they lived and as time passed they forgot they were once one people.
this will change as the land human tsumugu kihara who lives on land befriends four students who live in a village at the bottom of the sea. a lull in the sea is a beautiful drama romance anime that you should definitely watch! 3. love, chunibyo & other delusions! (chuunibyou demo koi ga shitai!) rikka takanashi is a teenage girl who possesses the strongest ocular power known to man the tyrant’s eye.
she's currently locked in a fierce war with a shadowy organization and the fate of the world may hang in the balance with each passing battle... or at least this is what she believes. in actuality rikka is merely a normal high school girl afflicted with chuunibyou syndrome a "disease" that makes one prone to delusional flights of fancy. meanwhile former chuuni sufferer yuuta togashi is enrolled at the same school looking to put his embarrassing junior high exploits behind him.
however when rikka discovers his past life as the "dark flame master" she uses this to her advantage to include him in all of her wacky schemes! with rikka’s zany behavior dragging him further and further from normalcy yuuta must try to pull her back into the real world or risk getting sucked into hers! 2. wolf girl and black prince (ookami shoujo to kuro ouji) the story centers on a 16-year-old high school girl erika shinohara.
she is always showing off by talking about love stories with her boyfriend but the truth is that she has never had one in her entire 16 year life. one day she takes a sneak shot of a good-looking boy she saw in town and makes a display of it claiming he's her boyfriend. then soon she learns the boy is kyoya sata who goes to the same school as her. he agrees to keep the secret and pretend to be her boyfriend but in return he orders her to be his “dog". wolf girl and black prince is a really funny romance anime.
i highly recommend it! 1. say "i love you†(suki-tte ii na yo) mei tachibana has had neither a friend nor a boyfriend in 16 years and she doesn’t plan on ending that streak any time soon. mei learned years ago that social obligations only lead to pain and has carefully guarded her heart to keep from getting hurt. she can’t stay withdrawn forever especially after attracting the attention of the handsome yamato who finds her caustic personality interesting and strives to date her.
