♪ creepy music ♫ hey guys, this is jackie your nerdecrafter i am by far one of the worst people to watch horror films or shows with but for some reason if you add in a monster i'm pretty ok with that and so in the spirit of october and halloween i wanted to show you guys how to make your very own absolutely creepy, scary, nasty phone case i absolutely love how the teeth look so real
and it just looks like it's something that's straight out of nightmares before i continue, of course, i wanted to let you guys know that my design is inspired by some great artists such as "beardedeye", "moldycreations", "morgan loebel" and more... so i will leave a link for them in the description box bellow for those of you new to my channel, don't forget to subscribe! there are plenty of geeky tutorials to keep you entertained equally if you like this project don't forget to leave a like and share!
all the dweebs are doing it! before we begin i wanted to say a big "thank you" to these awesome people for helping me caption my videos it means so much to me that you guys take the time out of your day to make my videos more accessible here's what you'll need for this project: translucent, ecru, pink and black polymer clay all these are from "sculpey" a phone case
mold maker a marble or circle made out of scrap clay rounded, pointy tools and a cutter your resin kit or any uv resin some chalk pastels liquid "sculpey" a glaze and a printout of the eyes, i will leave a link in the description box bellow the first thing we're going to do is
make a mold of the marble for the eyes follow package instructions for that now trace the outline of your phone case and cut it out mix ecru with translucent and cut that shape out of a flattened piece now draw the outline of where you want things to go start with black clay for the deepest part of the mouth mix red and translucent for this project now add the uvula and build the inner mouth with slim pieces to make the teeth, use your translucent clay and make three kinds
shave some chalk pastel and shade the parts of the teeth make as many teeth as you want as well as some plain round pieces and bake them for 10 minutes at 275 â°f now use a chalk pastel to color the mouth then make a border and insert the pre-baked teeth in there make the tongue with the same color of pink and texture it i am using the the texture on the side of my tool
but you can use any that you want put the tongue approximately where you want it to go and then place the remainder of the teeth all the way around it and then you're going to remove tongue for now to make the eyes pour some resin in the mold we made and let it cure as an alternative you can also use "fimo" liquid and bake it place the printout under the dome and surround it with translucent clay add some color to the white part with chalk pastels
and then add some of the ecru translucent clay around the gums and the eyes now for the final layer add more of the skin on top it doesn't have to neat because we want it to look sickly and odd use your rounded tool to smooth the pieces together build on as much as you want to fill the gaps we are working with thin layers of clay so the case will actually remain quite light don't forget to add the round translucent parts for the added effect
i also used red chalk pastels to give it a color trim whatever parts that aren't straight on the base and now you're going to bake it for 30 minutes at 275â°f once it's baked and slightly warm and flexible glue it on your case be sure to get glue on all the edges as well i'm using e6000 now for the part that makes it all come together use brown acrylic paint to get into the crevice and wipe off the excess with a wet paper towel
