to go looking for a costume, because all that's leftin the store is, like, the iron man maskand a lady gaga wig. well, you could goas iron lady, i guess. but don't worry. i came up witha few costume ideas, and i'm gonna show some of themto you right now. this first costume is a tribute to one of my top fourfavorite judges on "the voice."
come on out, please. hi. - hi. - what's your name? - joseph.- joseph, how old are you? what grade are you in? - third grade.- how old are you? - eight. - these are trick questions.
i'm gonna-- [laughter] and what are you right now? who are you dressed as? - raphael. i mean, uh... pharrell.- that's right. right. [laughter and applause]
his friends call him raphael. it's insider information. so you're pharrell,but i have-- you're not really complete yet. let me show youwho else we have. come on over here. what's your name? - nicholas.- nicholas. how old are you, nicholas?
- six.- six. are you in school? - yes.- what grade? - first.- okay. and what are you dressed as? - pharrell's hat. - that's right. better known as raphael's hat. this obviously isn'tthe actual size.
pharrell's is much bigger. all right, let me give yousome candy, okay? let's see. here. there you go. okay,step on over there. i put my cigarette out earlier. i guess it didn't go out. the most popular costumethis halloween is the ice queenfrom a certain disney movie,
so if you want toset yourself apart, i came out with this. [upbeat music] hi.what's your name? - lauren. - i can't--what? i can't hear you.- lauren. - i'm sorry?- lauren. - you should save the air.
lauren, how old are you? - six.- six years old. and what are you supposed to be? - frozen.- you're frozen. that's right. it's a great costumeif you want to stay cool and terribleif you trick or treat in a building or with a lotof stairs around you. all right, lauren.
there we go. all right. there's another grown-up--hold on. before you take her away, this is if you want to be frozenbut you're a grown-up. it's scotch on the rocks. right over there. thank you, andy. all right,there's a car commercial
that you've probably seenon television. it gave me an ideafor these next two costumes. come on out. - milo.- hi, milo. how old are you?- six. - six.what grade are you in? both: first. - okay, and, milo,who are you? - matthew mcconaughey.- that's right.
do this with your fingers. do that with your fingers. that's right.all right. what's your name?- raquel. - and what grade are you in,and how old are you? - first grade,and i'm six years old. - six years old, okay. and you're the bull? - osiris the bull.
- osiris the bull.you're in the way. you have to go backall the way around. here, let me show you. just so everybody can see the--osiris the bull. all right.adorable. here we go. lauren, there you go. thank you very much. head on over there.
this last costumeis a kid who wants something-- if you want something unique,here you go. - nia.- nia, how old are you? are you in the first grade? - yes.- that's what i thought. and you are dressed as? - a olive. - you're an olive. [applause]well, well, wait a minute.
i wasn't finished. we ran out of time.the show had to start. so i'm gonna finish itright now. hold on one second. okay. there. you hold this. now you're a character from one of my favoritetelevision shows, "scandal."
you're olive-ia pope. olive-ia pope. you got the wine. that's grape juice.that's ridiculous. that's just a waste. all right,let's give you some candy. and there you go. you can head on over there. you look great,all of you kids.
