hey guys! today i'm bringing you the skin painting tutorial. but before that, do not forget to help with disseminating giving a like in the video, sharing and adding to your favorites. subscribe if you not already subscribed, follow me in all social networks, and all links are in the video description. starting there is no way to explain it all in one video, so this video i'll show all the colors that i use and teach to do only light skin tones i already have two videos of tutorials, light skin and brunette skin in the canal but on a very basic painting, and ...

in this video i'll show you how i paint my drawings now that is, the painting is a more advanced then in another video, i'll teach brunette skin what about the dark skin i already have a good explanatory video on the channel, so no need to do another. that is already an advanced painting because it already has many color mixtures. so i do not need to do about black skin again. if you want to watch the dark-skinned video, just look at channel. in short, two videos will be teaching painting the skin advanced mode and this one is the first. i'll start by showing you all the colors that i use to paint the skin.

black just to paint the dark skin. burnt umber dark brown brown burnt sienna burgundy yellow ochre salmon

peach bubblegum pink sand and that pencil of koh i noor polycolor it's the same if you mix the sand and peach so it just goes to i save these 2 pencils, especially sand, because it only comes in 48 colors of faber-castell box. buy a box of 48 colors only for 1 color is complicated so this saves a lot here already. the black pencil is also the koh i noor, but the difference is not as significant, only the faber-castell blends better with others pencils because they belong to the same manufacturer.

and white is just to blend the colors for light skin i do not use all colors, brown i do not use and the yellow ochre it is difficult to use is not very necessary the sand and fills his role in light skin. then we'll use these pencils here. but not all they are used in a single drawing

you need to separate the pencil according to the skin tone of the character, because even in light skin it has tone variation there are more yellowish skin and there is more pinkish skin so if you make a skin with a pulled over to take the yellow, you will not use the bubblegum pink, salmon and burgundy because these tones are redder you will use only those here, and white to blend.

and the pinkish skin tone, you will remove the sand and you can use all of these here you can switch between the burnt sienna and burgundy but... the burnt sienna is better the burgundy is only if you are making a lot more red skin even, because ... it is like a brown mixed with red you may be mixing the two to take the redness of burgundy it is not really necessary but may also be used to complement

so this character here i'll use... these colors here and i will make a fair skin tone character, a little pinkish then i'll explain how you will replace the bubblegum pink by sand, to make skin tone more ... yellower, right? so we'll ever get dark color to a lighter color. why? because the light color is the color that you will force in the paper. so let's assume that i started with a light color, and i had to force it on paper here ...

then i'll apply the darkest color ... it will not mix right, even if you pass the white over will be very strange, will not mix right if you pass the dark color first, and very smooth just as i passed over the peach, i passed strong it will stay that way. now i'll go over the pink and stronger. it mixed well more and more emphasis on this dark color but to take these points were not uniform here,

you need to mix the colors before passing the peach then it is uniform, so you need to mix many colors. another important thing is also the tips, you need to let the tips well ... always very thin, always pointed ... i use pencil sharpener, faber-castell if you use pencil sharpener, do not use another manufacturer because you will only ruin your drawing. and ruin your pencil, which is even worse. some people use stylus, i think the stylus better, but i can not point to him i end up ruining the tips of the pencils,

i do not know what happens, but i can not. but if you can use the stylus is better. because with stylus you can, rather than letting the tip to widen ... you can get by very fine ever now i'll teach you guys first you will use burnt umber always first the burnt umber but if you do not want a sharp contrast, you can go straight to the dark brown but i prefer the burnt umber because it is a close color black, while it is still a brown

so... it will not be as strong as the black and not as weak as brown if you do not want to use the burnt umber, you will have a similar result to the drawing i did of gilthunder of nanatsu in taizai it was my last video i can not pronounce his name, "gilthunder" or "girutohanda" then i will start by sepia, and will identify the drawing where are the most shadows ... dark. it is usually down here, in the neck. here

a little nostrils and under the nose will always paint in small circles in this case and very smooth if you need darken, just apply as many layers as necessary, but always very smooth here also usually have darker shadows this cavity of the eye after i finish filling in the neck, okay? again, these parts of the ear.

here sometimes also has a stronger shadow under the lower lip of the character and now i'll fill the neck. always well smooth. when you realize that the tip of your pencil is getting rounder, you have points and leaves no ... it wears but if there will be a difference in paint and you can not fix it later. always in circles

when this part of the neck will be darker because ... the head will is casting a shadow on the neck usually the shadows cast by other objects are darker than the shadows cast on the object itself. that's the part that gets less light. precisely because the head is in front of the light. so we end the use of burnt umber and now we will start mixing the colors, after burnt umber put the dark brown. similarly smooth...

you may already realize a better color, it is no longer so gray when pass the dark brown. a lot of people think it's a gray, when i use the burnt umber in videos but no, the burnt umber is a black... or... very close to being brown, like a "black brown" when applied this smoothly, appears to be gray. then you pass the dark brown everywhere you went the burnt umber no need to force the dark brown just to merge the burnt umber and not let the white paper points appear.

you can make a shadow here too, in the side character's face, but it depends largely on the direction of the light spot i'll do only because they are more beautiful the gradient so. and here it will not be required burnt umber because there is a very dark shade. this is a softer light. here i can increase the shade with dark brown only here i can make a shadow also on the upper lip and there is usually shadow here too near the hair

here you choose whether to use the burnt umber or not, i like to use the burnt umber, but ... i'll show here for you as the skin is without burnt umber the tutorial to be really big, because there is no way to do this type of skin quickly and i do not want to be cutting the video for you ... i want you to see the whole process. if it is to cut the video whatever i put this or speed drawing to see you there. mixed now i can switch between burnt sienna and burgundy

i'll use the burnt sienna because i prefer it. and it's easier for me to leave the burnt sienna slightly more reddish with this pink do i get the red of burgundy this is situational so... you choose when you are doing the tests before painting the design you decide so we'll paint over the same way we did with the burnt umber and dark brown with burnt sienna you can force a little more, to go mixing

with burnt sienna you can slightly exceed those shadows to go making a gradient each light color that you are placed you can move a little to the side part of light to make the gradient here i will stress enough because it already has 2 colors so if i do a little more force the burnt sienna will not show up ready you can use either the peach or the salmon over of the shadows salmon is when the skin is somewhat redder

and peach is when the skin is somewhat more neutral. i prefer the peach, then i will use peach the peach you will ever press enough on paper because it that needs to blend the colors and why is not the white that will blend the colors in this case? because white it ends up clearing the other colors, so it's not cool you lighten the color in the shade. so white only serves to blend the light parts, the parts that i have not painted. here you will rather press the peach because it is he who will blend. in comparison now, when you mix 4 crayons you have a much better result when mixing only 2.

so the more crayons you can add the better. here you have the strength decreases slightly because of the gradient it is a part of color transition here the bridge is already round, so i'm failing to reach the required shades, i need to point the pencil. and it's easier for you to make a smooth color if you hold the pencil away from the tip hold in the middle, not at the tip the tip is for you to force the pencil, and in the middle is to make him softer so here you will already clearing, because the gradient. i'll finish painting here

pencil need not be pointed out as well when you are forcing him in the dark parts it needs to be well aimed only at the bright parts. only the peach, others need to be well appointed because you will not force them. part of the shadow is ready if necessary after i spend bubblegum pink, to make more rosy and now i'll point the pencil again and i will paint the light parts so i'll hold the pencil far, you can see that i'm holding almost at the other end of it

and i will make the circles here i will speed up the video because i will repeat this until preeencher this whole part here if i wanted to finish the drawing, i could because there are skin tones that you will only do this even but i'll show you how to make the most pinkish skin tone and yellower with the bubblegum pink and sand you will do much the same thing with 2, but will use less force in bubblegum pink because it is a stronger color than the sand i'll paint a part of his face with bubblegum pink and partly with sand, i will start by bubblegum pink

from here to top it will be the bubblegum pink and from here down will be the sand and i will let the side without any additional color to make comparisons okay, that's the part with bubblegum pink, hope you are able to see, because there is quite a difference and now i'll use the sand with the sand you can use a little more strength, because if not it will not appear very the sand you can go here too

to let a little more yellow this part as bubblegum pink you can also paint the shadow to leave a little more like the light and here i will strengthen a little the peach, because it is a little weak just so you can see the differences in each here the peach, here bubblegum pink and sand here i think you can sense a little difference between them the white you will use on the skin only when the peach or bubblegum pink. when the sand is not necessary, because he already mix very well the other colors, but if you want all right, i just think unnecessary. so here i'll spend the white for you to see

ah, must also remember that the white yellowish slightly color in fact it only gives that impression because it blends better colors so here we have the three basic types of light skin only peach, peach and bubblegum pink, peach and sand then, following these steps here and following the direction of the shadows of your character the points of light you need to determine on their own, i can not show every possible variation here i showed only how to mix colors that's it, i hope you enjoyed the video practice enough, is not the first or second time you will get a result ...

overall, there are exceptions but overall, a satisfactory result do not forget to give a like if you have not done so watch my latest videos here side and until next tutorial.
